Kelsey McDonald, P.T., D.P.T
Physical Therapist
Kelsey was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. She knew that she wanted to become a pediatric physical therapist since she was 16. "When I was in high school, I was on the drill team and hurt my knee while dancing and had to do PT. I always thought the PT I did was boring and I remember thinking 'I want to make it more exciting!'"
She began her therapist studies as a PT student at MCRC and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2018. Shortly after graduation, she moved back to Midland to return to MCRC. She met her now husband, Michael, through a co-worker and she chose to begin her career at the center because of what it does for the community.
She is qualified to administer intensive therapy and aquatic therapy as part of a patient's treatment plan. In her spare time, Kelsey loves being with her husband, Michael, and playing with their daughters, Everleigh and Addison. She also loves being outside and crafting projects!
